Well, guess I won't be ordering from her anymore.
I did see some discounts on her page with free shipping over a certain amount...but you can't apply it with any other deals.

Yeah it's free shipping with ordering 5 or more sample sizes, but only one coupon can be used per order. :(

Well, my shipping was 18.20 but I figured the jars themselves must be pretty substantial and not made of some dinky material so I'm expecting them to be pretty weighty when they arrive for that shipping price. I've never ordered before so I dunno what to expect, but I guess money has to be made somehow. In this economy, everything can't be a giveaway.

I know I sound like a broken record:

Why don't more vendors use flat rate shipping boxes for heavier orders?

The shopping cart should automatically be set to charge for a flat rate box (med or large) for purchases that weigh more than X pounds.

ITA... but that doesn't "make" money (though it saves us some).

Plus I'm not sure if Mozeke has a manufacturer or not, but that has to be factored in as well into the shipping/handling.

Koils by nature has flat rate shipping at $6.95 and free shipping over $50. I really like when vendors have free shipping over a certain amount. I think the cost of shipping for a lot of online vendors is way too expensive. Either give us more shipping options or give us flat rates. Texas NAtural Supply for instance starts at like $11 shipping. Thats outrageous and it goes up to $14 when I fill my order. Thats one thing I can't stand about TNS. I begged them to ship my order USPS priority once though and they obliged. But anyway, I sure hope KBN keeps those shipping policies.

I agree. Unless I order a TON of stuff, I usually won't order with shipping over $10.

ITA! Reasonable or low shipping makes me buy MORE. You'd think the owners would practice strategies to encourage spending...

It definitely makes me buy more. I feel like I got a good deal spending only $5 for shipping when I would've spent more in gas going to the mall. Although I love the mall. :love5:

I'm kicking myself right now for not placing an order. I was just being so stubborn about the shipping price. I took a chance on trying Afroveda's CocoLatte over reordering the Whipped Avocado Cream, but I still needed to re-up on the Almond Pudding and Holding Butter. Plus I wanted to try that milk and twisting butter. Grrrrr!

The holding butter is my favorite styler right now. I love that stuff. Since you said it smells like cake batter either she must have found another supplier for the fragrance or she still has more of the original in stock. She posted a while back that the supplier she gets her holding butter's fragrance from went out of business. I looove the smell of that holding butter. That reminds me I do need to order more! I'm trying to hold out for another sale since I was such a dope and didn't order memorial day.
