Need advice on new styling products!

All of my current products are nearing the end of their life, and I'm looking for new stuff.
I have dry, thick 2c hair. I currently use Jason Salon Curl Defining Cream after conditioning with Giovanni Magnetic Conditioner. After towel drying, I use Giovanni Mousse and Giovanni LA Natural Styling Gel. I recently started plopping which has made a big difference in curl definition, but it's definitely time to change my products.

I'm fairly happy with the curl defining cream as a base, but I'm looking for:
1) a product or two that moisturizes, shines, and de-frizzes (maybe a good leave in conditioner) but doesn't pull out curls
2) a good mousse/gel/cream for scrunching

My hair definitely responds best to natural products, but a few less-than-desirable ingredients are sometimes okay. I do not to well with harsh silicones like Dimethicone but the more water-soluble ones are okay.
Ideally, I'd be able to buy these products in Whole Foods or a drugstore, but I'm open to online options as well.

What do you recommend? What do you use?

My hair
2c, thick, normal elasticity, normal porosity
Mod-CG since winter 2010.

    A few thoughts!

-When you say towel drying, are you using a regular towel? I found that plopping/scrunching with either a flour sack towel (found a pack of four at Target really cheap) or an old t-shirt really helps cut down on the frizz.
-I tried SpiralSolutions Firm Hold Gel by itself last night and it made my hair look the best it has in a several weeks despite the protein! I thought my hair was protein sensitive because I too have coarse hair. This is one of her many products that you can buy on her etsy page.
-If you're interested in more natural products, I suggest you check out some members' etsy pages: BotticelliBotanicals, SpiralSolutions, BellaCurl.

Some other stuff I like are in my sig, hope this helps!

You could try flax seed gel if you haven't already. Can't get more natural then that.
My sister has med/coarse, thick, 2c/3a hair and also loves the ss fhg. It is aloe based, has a very hard hold and (I think) adds shine.
