Frizz, Compact Porosity?

Hi 2's,

I also posted this in General Discussion, but I find I get better, and quicker responses in this forum, so here we go...

I'm a 2 something or another curl (kind of inbetween a wavie and a curly). Anyway, I've been CG for about 2 years now and I'm still battling frizz! I went out last night and got AO's [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Aubrey-Organics-White-Camellia-Ultra-Smoothing-Conditioner-p-1013.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=aubrey-organics-white-camellia-ultrasmoothing-conditioner]White Camellia Ultra-Smoothing Conditioner[/buylink] and Sea Buckthorn Leave-in Conditioner and Curl Activator. I used these this morning and my hair has been super frizzy, and dull, and I think I might be allergic to something in one of the products because my scalp has been itchy all day. I may have over conditioned, but still, I am unimpressed and hestitant to try again given the itchiness; those will be going back to the store.

Any recommendations on what to try now?

I think I might get some flax seeds to try the FSG, but I was also reading this blog: http://dormroomcurly.blogspot.com/20...ons-table.html and in the section about porosity, I think my hair might be compact ie: it doesn't take moisture in (my hair is soft and when I use oil DT's it looks oily- making me think everything stayed on the surface). Anyone think they might have hair like this? Any suggestions on what I can do to see if I can get my hair to absorb moisture? Again, I am a 2 with lots of frizz, so heavy products can be a pain because they can weigh down my curl, but I need moisture! What's a girl to do?
