Your natural oil production. The Tzone is the oiliest in most people. Do you use a primer underneath? Powder on top? Even easier, just use blotting papers to reduce the shine. They're great.

Tarte Re-Create is a silicone-free primer that might help, and Benefit Stay Don't Stray is promoted as helping concealer stay on. it dries nicely and might even work under foundation - a little goes a long way.

I have an oil slick that I call my face. My liquid foundation does the same thing to me. The best product I have found to control oil is silk powder. I love it! I use it under both liquid or mineral make up. I've also tried other makeup primers, but I just don't like the way they make my skin feel. Aromaleigh sells samples of their silk powder for only $2.00 and they offer free shipping on sample only orders. So its a great way to try it. (I also love all their mineral make up)

Now they sell the full size 7 grams for $14.00, but if you like the sample and want to buy more what I do is go to this site

and for the same $14.00 you can get 3.3 oz in a plastic baggie. I just put some in an old mineral make up jar.:thumbright:

This stuff really works for me and I like the fact that it's a natural product and won't clog up my already acne prone skin. "Silk Powder also has many benefits for your skin- most importantly, it is a natural moisture-adjusting product... this means that it can absorb or release moisture as the temperature and humidity changes in your environment. Silk powder also contains amino acids and both reflects and absorbs UV rays."
    Hope this helps!:colors:

it's hot as hell here with high humidity and i don't even bother trying to keep the stuff on.

i mix a drop of primer with my foundation to put it on - with my fingers - powder over that and hope for the best.

I just got some foundation primer from Laura Mercier that is the BEST I've ever tried and it's not making me break out. T stands up to eat and humidity pretty well.
