This is the same cardio I currently do too. I run 3 times a week, and take a zumba class weekly. I just started Zumba a couple weeks ago, and it is so much fun.

I was reading a thread on the low carb friends exercise board about people who do little to no cardio and are in good shape. They use weight training and healthy eating. What and how much you eat is absolutely the most important thing in weight control, IMO.
For me I love spin classes. I get the most effective calorie burn from a 60 minute class.
I also think it is important to have a balance of cardio and weight training/strength training in your workout routine.
