Do you low-poo at all? Because I know in a previous thread you mentioned that you would buy the product containing cones and only use it when you straightened your hair. Only reason I say this is because if you still use sulfates or low-poo, then using HEHH is not a problem since amodimethicone builds up much more slowly than dimethicone and can easily be removed with a low-poo.

I use the HE Long term relationship condish about every other day right now and love it too. It has a very similar formulation to the Hello Hydration. I just poo once a week with Organix shampoo, it doesn't have sulfates but it does have coco betaine, which from what I understand removes amodimethicone and other "slightly soluble" silicones.

Yeah, so you should be good to keep using HEHH. No worries if you are low-pooing once a week, especially with amodimethicone. You should not have a build-up issue

Until a few months ago I used to poo like every week or so to avoid over-conditioning. Now my hair is really damaged and dry so I'm avoiding pooing at all costs. I would only poo if I'm straightening cause only then would I use products with cones in them.

I'll try and see if I can get my hands on a low-poo, then.

I use HEHH every other day and I don't notice any appreciable buildup. I low poo once very 2 weeks or so, but I also clarify shampoo when I do my BKT root touchup every 3 - 4 weeks.
