Head Coverings

Does anyone use head coverings? I have been thinking about trying out a snood. They are so pretty and seem like a great way to keep my hair up and out of the way while being protected. I am also interested in other coverings too such as scarves and bandanas.

Here is a link of examples:

Let us hear your experiences and advice. What worked for you? What is a better fabric? Pictures are always welcomed!

I saw someone with a snood once and thought that I would look good in one. My mother ended up buying a set of several for me off ebay. They seem cute in theory, but on me it looked like a lunch lady's hairnet lol! They also tend to slide off the head, so if you do decide to try them, secure w/ bobby pins or clips. I think scarves are really pretty :)

If you decide to go the scarf route, check out this youtube video. The 2nd half has more wearable options.
