????'s about humectants and anithumectants

i've been cg only for about 3 weeks now and its starting to get warmer where i'm at for school (southeastern state) and im confused about when to use humectants and antihumectants and what i should seal my hair with....can i use a humectant in my hair i.e honey in my conditioner and then seal it with olive oil (an antihumectant)

Went cg: march 3rd 2010
Hair type:4a all the way(i think lol)

    I believe the general rule is us humectants when the dew points are between 20 and 70. Use anti-humectants all other times.
    This is a guideline. There will be some situations where this does not apply.
