rough ends when flatironing...

today i was flatironing & i noticed my ends were kind of rough so wht can I do to make them smooth??

    cut them, rough ends sound like damage.

    Sometimes a comb chase will work, unless they are in fact damaged.

    If they just feel rough then you're probably good.

    If the feel (and look) like you have a small ballerina tutu on your ends it's damage....

    I'd say it sounds like your hair is damaged so the only way to cure this is to cut it.. Do you use a good hair protectant?

    One thing that may help btw is putting in some serum after straightening your hair, but that will only remove the symptoms for a little while!

    I had the very same problem...well your endz are the oldest part of the strand, time for them to go...trim, they'll feel MUCH BETTER!!!

    try wetting the ends down IF they are already dry and use a round brush and a hair dryer on cool setting. Mine was doing the same thing especially around my face and after using the round brush and blow dryer - it was soft once again and looked much better.

    Natural hair color - dark brunette
    Fine, thinish hair/3a, 3b
