Re: 3 compliments in 1 day on straightened hair!
People are retarded by nature. (No, I don't mean mentally challenged in a way you have no control over. I mean retarded as in STUPID BY CHOICE!!)
That's why I don't want to straighten mine. Why? I like it curly and I would hVe to listen to dumbasses telling me how much better I look with straight hair.

Re: Moisturized hair is still frizzy?
Shampoo. CG method is great if everything you use can be just rinsed off. The thing is a lot of these curly hair products are filled with things like oils that need to occasionally be shampooed off with a stronger shampoo.
Re: Why Won't My Hair Hold a Twist Out
Firstly check to see if the products you're using have glycerine in it. Glycerine is a humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment around it to itself. If this is not the issue then try applying gel to set your hair and ensure it's thoroughly dried.

Going off of what @dennisha said, do you live in a humid climate? It could be reverting due to humidity, steam from shower or cooking, etc. if it’s helps, both are beautiful!
Re: News
It seems to be a problem everywhere, constant battles to get things done for the elderly, I know it's a problem here and I have two friends in the UK with issues. The one I mentioned in a previous post still can only get minimal support for her mum at home alone - accident waiting to happen, and another one who is running around endlessly between different doctors/carers/whoever, trying to find the best care for her father in law. It seems all the different departments don't liaise with each other very well and there's no cohesive care plan in place. My Dad had a brain scan on the 22nd March and is still waiting for the results, never mind a plan going forward.
I feel for you rou, take care of yourself and accept there's only so much you can do.

Oh rou, like it's not difficult enough to deal with anyway, you don't need that kind of rubbish going on. My friend had a similar situation with her mum - she knew she was losing her memory but testing just came back as "age related changes" and there was nothing she could really do. She got lots of calls from concerned relatives and friends telling her she needed to "do something about your mum" but she had no options. I wonder why these concerned people, who live closer and were in a position to help, didn't.

Re: How often do you clarify?
I use a mild sulfate shampoo weekly, and Malibu C hard water shampoo about every 3 weeks. I also get my best hair after clarifying, which makes me wonder why I even bother with the loo poos. But I don't want to dry out my hair again, so maybe it's best to keep using them.

Re: I don't know how to have consistency in my curls and how to make them last, what am I doing wrong?
Welcome to CurlTalk!
What products do you use for cowash and condition? The Lush leave in is not CG friendly. I believe it has silicones. I don't think there's any Lush products good for CG. Get something different - Giovanni Direct Leave In is good, or Kinky Curly Knot Today. I just use my regular conditioner as a leave in.
Do a clarifying wash to get rid of the cones. Use a regular sulfate shampoo, just make sure there's no silicones in it. Then try again, and see if your hair turns out any better.
For holding the curls through the night, I put my hair in a pineapple and sleep on a silk pillowcase. Bonnets are good too, and some people use a buff.

Re: What did you do to your hair today? April
I’m getting redirected again on my iPad again. Took four tries to access the site. I would bet this is the reason for lack of activity. Is anyone actually working on this site? Why does naturally curly advertise it if they have no interest in supporting it?
